When the water quits or goes funny, the first fear is always the well itself. Usually it isn’t. A well is a hole and a casing; those last a long time. What wears out is the equipment, and what changes is the water level.
Things that usually aren’t the well
Sudden loss of pressure, a system that won’t hold, or air spitting at the tap often trace back to the equipment rather than the hole in the ground. Those are repairs, not a reason to drill again.
Things that might be
If the water level has genuinely dropped over years, or an old shallow well has stopped keeping up with the household, then it can make sense to talk about a deeper or new well. We’ll only suggest that after we’ve ruled out the cheaper fixes.
How we sort it out
We come look, test what’s happening, and tell you the smallest fix that actually solves it. If your water problem isn’t the well, we’re not going to sell you a well. Call us and we’ll work through it.
